The cassava is growing well
We hope you are staying cool this summer. The cassava plants we put in the ground at the Kumagaya Agricultural High School’s training plot are growing well. They have already reached a height of about one meter, and they will exceed two meters by the time harvest arrives. We will continue to monitor their growth while mowing the weeds. We intent to use this cassava cultivation project to foster exchange between the school’s students and Tonga. We are really looking forward to the harvest.
